Brady's moves to a big boy bed

Last night we moved Brady into his new room with his big boy bed. We are so so thankful for all the furniture my aunt gave us for Brady's new room and the new mattress from Tommy's mom and dad. The whole day on Saturday we explained to him that he would be sleeping in his new room that night and we gave him guidelines, which we went over and over and over many times. Number One: No standing or jumping on the bed (that was his speciality in the crib..he jumped for an hour straight during one nap). Number Two: No playing with the window that is next to the bed. Number Three: Do not get out of the bed. If you need something, yell for Mommy or Daddy.

First night: success. Not a peep from him after we put him down. In the morning I went to check on him at 7:20. He had just woken up. Laying there still but awake.

We are thankful for an adaptable kid.
