4 years ago, when Tommy and I first became parents, I thought he was the best dad the moment Brady was born. From walking Brady around in the hospital, to changing every diaper at the hospital, to sacrificing lots of much needed sleep as all three of us shared a room for one year, to taking Brady on a walk almost every morning to go get me a cup of coffee so i could sleep an extra 30 minutes, and EVERYTHING in between.
Now, 4 years later, with miss Kinley in our family, he is still the best dad, but times 1000!! He literally drops everything when he gets home just to play hide and seek with Brady, every. night. He will now get up with both kids AND make pancakes or waffles, just so I can rest. He plays hard with the kids, listens so intently, teaches so passionately, and loves so unconditionally. He is still the BEST dad to our kids.

Fun outings
As we are coming to a close on our days here in Texas, we have been trying to get out as much as possible. Even in the midst of packing and cleaning. This past weekend, we went to the Domain, which is a wonderful huge outdoor shopping/restaurant area. There was an event called The Taste of the Domain. All of the restaurants at the Domain had booths out, with their tastiest foods, and if you wanted to try all the different food, you just had to purchase a wristband and then you were set to eat all the yumminess. :) So, we met some friends down there and had a great afternoon trying all of the food, and the kids enjoyed getting animal shaped balloons.
We've also had fun trying new pools/water parks, riding the carousel at the mall, playing in our backyard, and bike rides.
Bring on the next two weeks of chaos.

Not gonna miss...
There are definitely a lot more things I will miss about Austin, then there are things I won't miss. BUT the main thing I won't miss FOR SURE is the crazy big bugs. Not only how big the bugs are, but how MANY there are, also.
It's actually ironic. Before we moved out here, I was "warned" by a few people about the bugs here. And I really didn't believe them. I mean, how bad could it be? Yikes, i was so wrong. I'm not just talking about a little ant pile here and there, or the occasional mosquito. I'm talking if there is one mosquito, there are hundreds. If there is one ant, there are literally millions. And not little itty bitty ants and mosquitos, either. The mosquitos are so big you can see them flying around like flies. And you can for sure see them when they land on you, or say your kid. And my kids love to play in the dirt. Especially Brady. So, we've had multiple scream fest's of him trying to get these huge red fire ants off of him. Not fun. Oh, and don't even think about going outside at night without covering your entire body in bug spray.
Well, those are the bugs that are annoying but can totally handle. Centipedes, cockroaches, scorpions, huge gross flies that invaded our house, etc...those are the ones that I can't handle. Thankfully, we haven't had any super close encounters with scorpions or centipedes, but my really good friends here who live in really nice homes, have. And we live in a nice neighborhood, so you would think all those bugs would be just "out in the country", right??? So did I.
Needless to say, I will NOT miss those crawling little creatures and our fair share of unwanted encounters with them. So, good bye gross bugs. You will not be missed.
* I was going to put a picture of them on here but it grosses me out to much! :) So if you care to see what these nasty little things look like just google them. Don't say I didn't warn you! ;)

Blessed
The kids love to play hide and seek in our guest bedroom. Usually the game consists of one of them hiding under the sheets and the other person acting surprised when the sheets are lifted up:) I had to document. Love these two. So blessed.

Silly Face
Not sure how miss Kinley comes up with this stuff, but if you ask her to make a silly face, she'll stick her tongue out! Hilarious, this girl.
