Thanksgiving in Plano

We are thankful to be within 3 hours of family, out here in Texas:) Tommy's brother and family are in Plano so we drove for Thanksgiving weekend to be with them. They have a beautiful home and a beautiful pool and spa, which they heated so the kids could swim. So fun. We had a relaxing time sitting around the fire watching football, eating yummy amazing food, and late late late night conversations. Its always great being with family. And the cousins had fun being together too. It was a great weekend, AND we got daddy all to ourselves for 5 days:)

Everyone put what they were thankful for in the gratitude box. And then we guessed who wrote what. It was fun. Brady, all on his own, when asked what he was thankful for said, "my mommy and daddy". It was nice to feel a little love:)

Cousins! Kinley's face cracks me up.

Sweet girl enjoying her Thanksgiving dinner.

Family(blurry)pic.

Brady and his bike

When we moved to Texas, we sold pretty much everything, including most of the kids toys. Simply because we only had a trailer and didn't have much room for anything other than our necessities. So, we told Brady we would get him a bike when we got to Texas. Well, almost 4 months later, we got him his bike. He has mastered his "balance bike", which is supposed to be more effective then training wheels. So, since it's not 105*, we are enjoying the 75* weather outside, watching Brady learn to ride a bike. His lightening mcqueen bike, I might add :)

On his training bike

Daddy is such a good teacher.

Brother and Sister

These two are becoming more fun everyday. Kinley and Brady and more interactive and although Kinley doesn't really talk, it's like she knows exactly what Brady is saying. They are so fun to watch. Here's a fun pic I got of them when they were playing in our backyard.

Halloween Weekend

On Friday of Halloween weekend, we drove to Fort Worth to be with my family. We went to the TCU vs BYU football game at The Dallas Cowboys stadium, which was amazing and huge! And on Saturday we went to the Fort Worth zoo, which is rated one of the top 5 zoos in the country! It was awesome and the kids had a blast. And for dinner we ate yummy barbque at Riskys in downtown Fort Worth! Fried pickles? YUM!!!!;)
It was so great to be with family!!!

Then we drive to plano where Tommy's brother and his family live. We were able to be there through halloween, so the kids could trick or treat together. It was fun to see them dressed up! The kids loved being with cousins!!

This picture makes me laugh every time I look at it!!

Kinley loves to point out facial features;) she calls nose, "nono"

We had a fun first Halloween in Texas!!!!
