Kinley and Brady

I wish i could freeze time right now. I LOVE the ages our kids are. Kinley and Brady laugh together, Brady loves to talk to her like she really understands, they love to share food, he loves to come get Kinley when she wakes up from her nap and in the mornings, and his name for her is "sweet"...."Hey mom, where is sweet?" "No No sweet, you can't put that in your mouth". Kinley can make about a million faces. And they are all hilarious to me.
Here are some fun pics of them...

Sharing a milkshake..:)

I LOVE this picture! It's her crazy/excited face. Hilarious.

Sweet boy.

Happy girl.

Kinley can climb onto ANYTHING!!!!! I found her the other day on top of the kitchen table!! Yikes!

New Years Weekend

We had a fun night out on Friday with a group of friends. We went to a tapas restaurant downtown, where the appetizers were all half off till 9!!! And the food was delicious!!! The atmosphere was so nice too. After dinner we went to a lounge/rooftop dance place (not sure what the place was called). You could see all of downtown Austin from the roof top! It was such a fun night and so great to celebrate New Years a little early without all the crazy people and crowds!!! :) On Saturday, we enjoyed staying in at our house playing games with our friends Kelly and Bryan...

The ladies, Kelly, Leigh, April, me, Kim

Such a fun night!

Small Group Christmas Dinner

I love to look back at when we first moved here and really knew no one. God has hand picked friends for us here that are so so great. We are in a small group with three other couples going through What Did You Expect by Paul Tripp. Tommy and I look forward to being with these people every week. We love the close friendships we have developed with them.
So, for Christmas we rented a limo and headed to downtown Austin for dinner and dessert. We went to the restaurant that Sandra Bullock owns called Bess Bistro and it is SO SO SO SO good. Then we went to an old famous hotel called the Driscoll and had dessert :) It was such a fun night!!!!!

Sorry for the horrible picture quality! They were taken with my iPhone!

Beth, Me, Hayley, and Kelly

I don't know why i didn't get any pics of the guys, but they were there too...:)

Christmas Morning/Day

We had to wake both kiddos up at 7:30 to go downstairs on Christmas morning. We had opened most of our presents here at home, so I just brought the kids stocking and they got to open the one present from the cousins. It was a fun day lounging around in our jammies, playing with new toys, and being with family.

I got Tommy some running gloves, because he is training for a MARATHON!!! in Feb.

He asked for a bag to keep his presents together...:)

I never taught her how to hold a cell phone...yikes!

We feel so so so blessed by God. Our kids are such joys. And Kinley has the best little personality. Feisty, sweet, and hilarious...

And Brady is growing up way to fast. He is sensitive, loves to learn, your typical rowdy boy, and loves to ask A MILLION questions a day :)

And here was our Christmas card pic...and a few others!

Christmas Eve

We enjoyed a Christmas Eve service at the other Barrington's church. It was fun to get the kiddos dressed up, talk to them about Jesus' birth, life, and death, and enjoy family time around the kitchen table eating yummy food. And each kid got to open one gift ;)

again, anything Lightening McQueen :)

The Eve before Christmas Eve

We decided to stay in Texas this year for Christmas. So we drove to Plano to be with Tommy's brother and his family. It's so great to be just a short drive away, if we can't fly to California. Since we drove to Plano on the afternoon of Christmas Eve, we decided to open some gifts from my family, my god parents, and Tommy's parents. It was a fun family night of reading about Jesus' birth in the book of Luke, eating brownies, and opening gifts. Our kids are so blessed, and we are so thankful.

Brady loves to sit on the counter and "help" whenever I am cooking or baking :)

And of course, whenever you make brownies, you eat half the batter ;)

He loved the lights on the tree.

Luke 2.

This girl didn't understand Christmas or receiving gifts, but she loved to rip the paper. And try to eat it. She loves food, and sometimes I think she thinks everything is food....

My god parents, Dave and Terry, gave the kids these adorable placemats...

As well as this fun popsicle maker...

And Brady got some fun Lightening McQueen stuff, which always makes him happy :)

The main gift from my parents to all of us was a new iPad. which Brady LOVES. We have fun using it during our little "preschool" time :)

And a month ago we bought a trampoline. It's been great. And I must say, we ALL enjoy it:)

And my siblings gave them these cute bean bags...which they love!

Next up...Christmas Eve in Plano!
