Blue Bonnet Field

It is officially spring around here. And today actually was more summer like, but being that its still actually March, I will still call it spring. And with spring comes the sprouting of all the wild flowers, as well as the Texas state flower, the blue bonnet. We came across a field of just blue bonnets and thought it would be fun to document the kids in such a great setting.

I love their little conversations.

This girl has some sass.

Sweet Berry Farm

This past weekend, our family drove a half hour to Marble Falls, to Sweet Berry Farm. In the fall, they have the pumpkin patch(that we went to), and in the spring/summer they have strawberries and blackberries. It is the cutest place. Rows upon rows of strawberries that you are able to pick and take home. A fun barrel tractor ride for the kids, a petting zoo, face painting, and a place to enjoy their DELICIOUS homemade strawberry ice cream. It was a fun family day:)

On a mission...

Tractor barrel ride!

Feeding the goats...always a favorite.

Ready to pick some strawberries...

Brady was actually really into it:)

Kinley enjoyed following Brady around and picking up on what he was doing:)

Daddy helping Kinley pick the perfect strawberry!

We love their homemade strawberry ice cream!!

Kinley: 18 months

We can not believe Kinley is already 18 months! She is such a blessing to us. Words i use to describe her: Sassy, sweet, dramatic, delicate, loving, snuggler, and hilarious.
She LOVES to eat, and really will eat just about anything i put on her tray. She is the best sleeper. Still taking a 2 1/2-3 hour nap in the afternoon, and will sleep at night from 7:30-8:00. Her favorite word to say is "BRAAADD-DDDYYYYY". Just like that:) And she loves books, and will actually sit on your lap while you read to her. She can throw a great tantrum. Like on the floor screaming. It can be funny and frustrating at the same time:)
Here were her stats at 18 months:
24 lbs. 50th percentile
34 inches: 95th percentile
The doctor called her long and lean:)
oh and her head circumference was off the charts, just like it's always been...

We love you sweet girl.

March Update

And here are some random pictures of what we have recently been doing :)

My brother came down and visited us for the weekend a couple weeks ago. We had fun hanging out with him, and having our first snow cone from Sno Beach....YUUUUMMMMM! :)

These next few pictures of Brady and Kinley were done all on their own....

Brady started swim lessons in February, and he loves them! Except that they're pretty hard core, more like swimming boot camp...

Crazy girl.

Hudson and Brady playing with play dough!

Daddy and Brady caught a lizard, just like the one on his shirt!!

And Kinley loves to feed herself with a spoon and a fork.

Fun at the Round Rock outlets: )

It was really windy the other day...which made for the perfect kite flying day!

Kinley and mommy had fun watching:)

Austin Marathon Weekend

Tommy and my brother in law, Zach decided to do the Austin marathon in September. And as soon as they decided, the training began! I really couldn't believe they were going to run 26 miles! Lets just say, there was some serious training. But, it all paid off because they both finished! The marathon started at the capitol building downtown and went all around downtown Austin.
And what made the weekend so great, was that my WHOLE family, spouses and all, came to Austin. We had a BLAST going to a few fun dinners to celebrate my sister Leisha's birthday, and the completion of the marathon. We were blessed with GREAT weather. Sunny and 75* the whole time. So great. And being downtown most of the weekend, reminded me how great Austin is.

We picked Zach and Leisha at the San Antonio airport, and our first stop: Chuys! We had to introduce them to their YUMMY queso and jalopeno ranch dip. YUM!

We hadn't seen them since last May! That's way to long...

Ready to cheer the boys on at the finish line...

They did it!

Dinner at Buca de bepo.

Singing to Beish.

Everyone!

After dinner at Roaring Fork.

Brady was into watching the race. He was excited to see daddy and Zach turn the corner:)

There's Zach! turning the corner to the finish line!!

And then daddy came around the corner! Yay!!!!!

They were all smiles afterward :)

Family picture. A little to bright though:)

Such a fun weekend!!!!!!!
