Happy 2nd Birthday Brady!

We really can't believe that 2 years have passed since Brady was born. It went by so. fast. It has been a great 2 years and we are SOO thankful for such a fun, energetic, enthusiastic, talkative, tantrum throwing 2 year old! Every day (no exaggeration) when Tommy gets home from work, I have a story of something funny or silly Brady did or said. He is always keeping us on our toes and is now, most of the time, our source of entertainment.

We had a great weekend celebrating our sweet boy. My mom and dad came up from Fresno on Saturday and we had a family barbecue at Tommys' parent's house. It was a fun, simple way to celebrate. We were blessed with 75 degree weather all weekend, so it was great to be outside and enjoy time with family. Brady's actual birthday was on Sunday. My mom and dad stayed with us, so we woke and had a great birthday breakfast, and Tommy set up the slide we got Brady. He played on it all morning till we left for church. After nap time we enjoyed some time with friends at the park and then dinner at our house. We roasted marshmallows and made s'mores with Tommys parents.

Such a fun, perfect weekend. And each time we would say, "Happy Birthday Brady!!!", he would reply with, "Happy Birthday Brady!!". Maybe next year he'll get it;)

~We love that you love people. You will say hi to just about any person we pass in the grocery store, say thank you to the check out lady, and SCREAM bye as we walk out of the store.

~We love your serious enthusiasm for just about everything and just life in general. I'm told you're a lot like your daddy was as a toddler.

~We love the way you love to learn. You LOVE books. And you like to show off by telling us the color of every object you see..."That's a yellow one" "Big green slide"

~We love your sensitive side. Anytime another kid is crying you will always say, "Baby sad...kisses?"

~We love that you are a typical 2 year old. And will just lay on the floor at the store if you don't want to get in the cart. And then start screaming. While everyone is looking at us. And then mommy has to carry your limp body to the car.

~ We love that you are so active. You love love to be outside doing just about anything. You love to play EVERY sport with daddy, and if you ever get hurt you come running to mommy and ask me to kiss it for you.

~ We love that every time we pray you say very boldly and loudly, "AMEN". You even say it just like that in church.

~ We love you just the way God made you. And are so so so so thankful for you and can not imagine our life without you.
