Welcome to California

After the easiest flight with Kinley from Austin to Oakland, we officially made it back to California. Tommy and Brady drove from Austin to El Paso, Tx on the first day. Then from there they drove straight to Kingsburg!!! Which means it took them two days! A little crazy but they made it and survived.
My mom picked Kinley and me up from the Oakland airport and we drove to my aunt and uncles house in Santa Rosa. You know that saying, "you don't know what you've got till it's gone?", well that totally rang true with me as we drove on the 101 to Santa Rosa. It really is SO SO beautiful. And i really did miss the beauty of northern California.
Silly girl. We made a pit stop at old navy to get her some pajamas.

My mom and Kin at my Aunts house. Seriously, how beautiful is this view? The lavender fields and vineyards are so pretty.

If you know me at all, you know my love of fish/sushi. Well, when Tommy and I lived in San Francisco we would walk down the hill to the Marina and eat at Pacific Catch. Every. Weekend. They have the BEST fish tacos and this yummy dish, called Hawaiian Poke. So, Kinley and I drove 45 minutes from Santa Rosa to Corte Madera to Pacific Catch. And i got to eat my Hawaiian Poke. Also, if you know me you know my love for iced tea. And they have the best iced tea. What a yummy treat.

Our first picture in Kingsburg. Our good friends here, the Lehermans, made us these YUMMY cookies. How adorable, right?

A really bad picture of our backyard but you get the idea:) They are laying grass this week and fixing the fence. And in the next month, they are planting kiwi orchards behind our fence. I wasn't sure how I would feel about living in the "country" but I love it. It is so peaceful and quiet. And our kids LOVE it. And ill just say Tommy is in his world;)

As we slowly unpack, the kids find all their "stuff". Kinley loves her little creation book. So, this was a sweet moment, when I found her sitting on our couch reading it all by her self.

This is a random tractor in the field next to us. Brady LOVES it.

There have been some pretty amazing sunsets. I love summer time.

Lots more pictures to come...
