The Eve before Christmas Eve

We decided to stay in Texas this year for Christmas. So we drove to Plano to be with Tommy's brother and his family. It's so great to be just a short drive away, if we can't fly to California. Since we drove to Plano on the afternoon of Christmas Eve, we decided to open some gifts from my family, my god parents, and Tommy's parents. It was a fun family night of reading about Jesus' birth in the book of Luke, eating brownies, and opening gifts. Our kids are so blessed, and we are so thankful.

Brady loves to sit on the counter and "help" whenever I am cooking or baking :)

And of course, whenever you make brownies, you eat half the batter ;)

This girl didn't understand Christmas or receiving gifts, but she loved to rip the paper. And try to eat it. She loves food, and sometimes I think she thinks everything is food....

My god parents, Dave and Terry, gave the kids these adorable placemats...

As well as this fun popsicle maker...

And Brady got some fun Lightening McQueen stuff, which always makes him happy :)

The main gift from my parents to all of us was a new iPad. which Brady LOVES. We have fun using it during our little "preschool" time :)

And a month ago we bought a trampoline. It's been great. And I must say, we ALL enjoy it:)

And my siblings gave them these cute bean bags...which they love!
