Kinley:: ONE year old

It feels like just yesterday, literally, that I was blogging about her birth. Wow, that year FLEW by!!!

Miss Kinley,
We were all SO SO SO excited that you were a girl! Waiting to find out was the best. Even though I knew all along you were a girl :)

Your big brother really does love you. Despite the occasional times he sits on you, or takes your toys away. He loves it when you laugh and will do anything to make you laugh again. He protects you whenever you are around other kids...he makes sure to let them know that you are HIS sister. And he can't wait until you are "big like him".

And boy do you have daddy wrapped around your cute little finger. I don't think you could say "DADA DADDA DADDA" with more excitement when he comes home from work, even if you tried. And you just LOVE to be with him, play with him, and read with him.

You are one of the happiest babies I know. Of course you have your moments, but you smile and laugh a lot! And we love your enthusiasm for animals and food. It really is quite entertaining to ask you if you want breakfast or lunch, and to watch you sprint crawl to the refrigerator and stand there until I come to open it.

We can not believe that you are already one! We thank God for your sweet life, and know that you are a gift from Him.
A few fun facts about you:
--You are the BEST sleeper. You are still taking 2 naps a day. about 2 hours each. And sleep from 7:30-7:30.
--You will try to say just about any word we ask you, even if it sounds nothing like it.
--Your favorite words that we hear all the time are DADA DADA DADA, occasional mama;), MORE, MORE, MORE (while clapping your hands), nigh nigh, da-ee is doggie...
--You LOVE your daddy
--Stranger anxiety has kicked in
--You love to play hide and seek in the tent with Brady.
--You're not walking yet. But have taken 6-7 steps on your own.
--You love your blankie and your paci.
--And you love any animal you see.

We all love you so much. And we are thankful God chose us to be the stewards of your sweet soul.

Cute little feet. Thank you Nana for the adorable TOMS.
