Christmas and New Years 2009

Whew! Finally all the Christmas gifts are organized and put away. What a job!!! We had a great Christmas and New Years. The week before Christmas, Tommy's whole family was in Ukiah to celebrate a few days early. Brady was in heaven having so many cousins around to play with. We celebrated Christmas the night before Christmas Eve, with a yummy dinner, a gift exchange, and a reenactment of Luke 2, when Jesus was born. It was a fun night!

Christmas Eve day, we began our 5 hour trek to Fresno. We went to a night Christmas Eve service, followed by a filet mignon dinner at my parent's house. So good! We also had fun exchanging our secret santa gift. Christmas day was the best. Lazy morning, good breakfast, and watched way to much Lost. We headed over to my aunt and uncle's house for Christmas dinner and gift exchange. Such a great night being with family.

Over the course of the week we were in Fresno, we enjoyed some shopping (of course!), catching up with some great friends, and for me and Tommy....we enjoyed having multiple babysitters at any given time to watch Brady!!!

A couple days before New Years, my whole family drove to Tenaya Lodge, where we stayed for 3 nights. It was a blast! So much time to relax, play in the snow, get a massage and a facial, and bring in the New Year with my whole family. We had sooo much fun!

This was Christmas Day at my Uncle Mike and Aunt Toots' house. My uncle is a police officer. Brady wanted to be one too:)

One of Brady's favorite gifts he got was a new tee with a bat and ball. He LOVES it!

Tommy and I got to meet up with our good friends from dental school, Adam and Melissa. We were pregnant at the same time and had our boys 1 week apart. It was so fun to catch up with them!!!

I have a new found appreciation for iphone apps. Brady LOVES LOVES the app with all the animals and animal noises. We heard "Camel, Camel, Pig, Cow, Dolphin, Dog, Cat...." A LOT!

We also got to spend an evening with our friends Blake and Cherie Smittcamp and their daughter Aubrey Rose. As I do the math, we have gotten them together about every 6 months! Not nearly enough, but we'll take what we can get :) So fun to watch them grow together!

Upon arriving at Tenaya Lodge, Brady was quick to find the "Choo Choo". So much excitement.

Brady's first time in the snow and sledding. He had a blast. However he would call the snow "ice".
