Graduation Weekend

The weekend we have been looking forward to for a long time is actually over. Tommy's dental school graduation weekend was filled with several events. Friday night, we went to the alumni dinner at the Ritz Carlton in San Francisco. This was such a great event! First, we had never been to a Ritz Carlton(which was an experience in itself), and second, it was so much fun to get all dressed up and spend the evening with Tommy's graduating class.

Mommy Night Ladies :) Megan, me, Melissa, and Bryn. Love these girls!

Saturday morning we attended Thanks a Bunch Brunch at the Fairmont Hotel. I was never informed, but I quickly found out when I had to go up on stage. It was a brunch thanking all the people who helped put the students through dental school. It was a beautiful brunch at a beautiful hotel.

After the brunch, we met up with my family in Union Square

Saturday night, Tommy was inducted into OKU. OKU is the High Honors club. He worked very hard all three years of dental school to graduate with high honors. We are all so proud of him and all the hard work he put into dental school!! The OKU dinner was at the Olympic Club, which was another beautiful venue.

I was PRETENDING like I was inducted into OKU:)

And finally, Sunday was graduation day! The graduation was held in San Francisco at the Nob Hill Masonic Center. Tommy's dad "hooded" him as he received his diploma. It was really neat to watch, after all the late night conversations they have had talking about dentistry!!! Tommy's ENTIRE family attended the graduation! It was so much fun having everyone there!

Our good friends Peter and Lisa Maclennan (and baby Mac) came to support Tommy

Brady couldn't figure out what was on Tommy's head:)

Overall, we had such a fun weekend filled with friends, family, beautiful hotels, some of the best food we have ever had, and a D.D.S degree!!! Way to go Tommy! We love you!
