Austin Marathon Weekend

Tommy and my brother in law, Zach decided to do the Austin marathon in September. And as soon as they decided, the training began! I really couldn't believe they were going to run 26 miles! Lets just say, there was some serious training. But, it all paid off because they both finished! The marathon started at the capitol building downtown and went all around downtown Austin.
And what made the weekend so great, was that my WHOLE family, spouses and all, came to Austin. We had a BLAST going to a few fun dinners to celebrate my sister Leisha's birthday, and the completion of the marathon. We were blessed with GREAT weather. Sunny and 75* the whole time. So great. And being downtown most of the weekend, reminded me how great Austin is.

We picked Zach and Leisha at the San Antonio airport, and our first stop: Chuys! We had to introduce them to their YUMMY queso and jalopeno ranch dip. YUM!

We hadn't seen them since last May! That's way to long...

Ready to cheer the boys on at the finish line...

They did it!

Dinner at Buca de bepo.

Singing to Beish.

Everyone!

After dinner at Roaring Fork.

Brady was into watching the race. He was excited to see daddy and Zach turn the corner:)

There's Zach! turning the corner to the finish line!!

And then daddy came around the corner! Yay!!!!!

They were all smiles afterward :)

Snow in Austin

In February, it actually snowed one day here in Austin! And two days later it was back to 75* :)
That's one thing I'm still adjusting to, Texas weather...yikes!

The many faces of Kinley...

This girl makes quite the faces...

February Update

February was definitely a really busy month. We all enjoyed all the fun activities we were able to do!:)

Although this picture doesn't really show it, He was SO excited to go on the airplane with just daddy, all the way to California. :)

He put his hat and backpack on by himself, and said " mom i am all ready to go now"!!!

It's official. Kinley is OBSESSED with babies. Real or fake. It doesn't matter.

And i always thought Brady was going to be our ham...nope.

Superbowl fun at the LoSurdos.

This was the morning after Brady and Tommy got home from Cali. They were beyond excited to see each other, and pretty much didn't leave each others sight all day...

Love them.

Brother and sister enjoying a movie and Pirates Booty. :) Their favorite snack.

While Brady was in California, Kinley had the bathtub all to herself. She loved sitting by the faucet and playing with the running water, which she doesn't get to do when Brady is home because he gets to sit in front:)

Oh, but he can still be a little ham, for sure...

Sweet girl blowing kisses.

We all love Mighty Fine burgers:)

Brady excited to hit his first piƱata at Cade's birthday party...

Valentines Day dinner. We had yummy teppanyaki :)

And then went to Roaring Fork for dessert and had huckleberry cheesecake..

and pecan pie.

Brady and Kinley having a "picnic".

AND there's more. But I think they deserve their own posts:)

It's been a while...

Yikes. I just realized I haven't blogged since January!!! Time flies, for sure. Here is a little update with what we were up to in January:)

Brady drew a "trail" to get back to California. He was preparing for daddy and his trip to California to see nana and papa.

My mom and dad visited us for a nice long weekend. We had fun playing at parks, eating yummy food at amazing restaurants, and celebrating my parents 34th wedding anniversary.

We had random waves of 80* weather, which was so nice. And we definetly took full advantage of the beautiful weather.

Kinley enjoying her first ice cream cone at chick fil a :)

We had a fun friend play date at Zilker park, in Austin. We had fun riding the train around the park and playing on the playground after with sweet friends.

Brady loves to help Kinley do everything. He is quite the big brother.

Well, there is our January update. Onto February...
