Happy Birthday Brady!

Brady,

I will never forget being in labor with you and walking up and down the steep steep hills of San Francisco, just to get frozen yogurt.
I will never forget getting in the car to go the hospital and hearing the song "I saw God today" by George Strait.
I will never forget the very instant you came into the world and took your first breath.
I will never forget smiling so big as you were screaming so loud.
I will never forget the day you were born.

You are a spark of light in our lives. You keep us on our toes with the daring things you do and you make us laugh at all the cute things you say. You have the biggest heart as well as the biggest appetite. You are a GREAT big brother to Kinley. You love to call her "sweetie" and constantly ask her if you guys can be friends. You love to play hard with dad, and you love mom to kiss your ouchies. We are beyond thankful for you. Happy 3rd birthday sweet boy!

Some of your favorites at 3:
Favorite foods: Pickles, Rotisserie chicken, ice cream
Favorite color: green
Favorite books: Jesus walks on water, and Llama Llama Red Pajama
Favorite cartoon: Mickey Mouse Clubhouse

Lover of a few bites

Yep. that would describe miss Kinley and food. She gets really excited when she sees the food. And she eats the first 5 or so bites like you would think we starve her. And after that, she turns into a complete little ham. She'll just start laughing at me. We'll see how her little appetite progresses. Brady at this age was called the lover of ALL bites (and then some). So, yep, every kid is different i guess.

Thankful

You know how it's said that more is caught then taught? Well, there is no one that I would rather have our kids "catch" things from then Tommy. He is seriously the best.

Brother and Sister

I hope these two will always want to be best friends. Their relationship is already so sweet. I love love love watching them interact.

Look who's...

starting to sit up all by herself! She is so content when she sits up. I love it. And so does she.

And just because I love her infectious smile...

A little update...

We have been a busy family. And it seems even busier when you add a 2 year old and a 6 month old. A few weeks ago we went down to San Diego for a dental conference that Tommy wanted to attend. And from there we ventured up to Temecula to visit/stay with Tommy's cousins. A few days into our Temecula trip, Tommy left for 5 days to go on his 3rd annual baja golfing trip. He had a blast. We had a blast. And I was one busy momma by myself, but in great company, while Tommy was gone.
And this past weekend, I was in Anaheim at Disneyland for my sister Kaelyn's bachelorette party. While Tommy was home with BOTH kids. I know he's great...and brave. We had a great time being with all the girls in her wedding and spoiling the bride to be.
Here are a few pics:)

While Tommy was at his dental conference in San Diego, I had both kids. So, we ventured to LegoLand. Which, if you have kids, especially boys, I HIGHLY recommend it. It was very clean and had great rides and fun things for the kids to do.

Really so neat. This was mini town. Everything was made out of legos.

And since I was by myself, I couldn't bring Kinley on some of the rides, so this nice man offered to ride with Brady.

He was fascinated.

Yep, highlight of his day.

And little miss took a great long nap in the rental stroller.

Tommy and his mini me. About to enjoy the heated pool:)

Then...in Temecula Brady enjoyed spending time with Mason and Addy.

Happy girl loves the bjorn.

And she also got to have rice cereal for the first time.

Kinley's first airplane ride. Wasn't sure if it's legal to take a flash picture at night on the plane so I was quick and sneaky:)

Then onto Disneyland. Sisters.

Celebrating the bride!

Kinley:: 6 months

Wow, half a year already? Crazy! I really don't remember time flying by when Brady was this young. Kinley is starting to show so much of her little personality. She can display the biggest cheesiest smile ever. She really loves Brady and lights up whenever he comes into the room. She is in the beginning stages of starting to sit up by herself...she can last a few minutes by herself. She is seriously the most ticklish baby ever. She gets really fussy when she is really tired. And we just put her in the jump up. She loves it. Solid food experience coming in the next few weeks...
